7:30pm “When the Music Stops: The Anita O’Day Story,” a reading of a new play written by Madisonian Erica Berman and featuring Sarah Streich as Anita O’Day with the FST Jazz Trio (Rottmayer, Ferris, and Koszewski)

The story of one of opera’s most unforgettable stars is brought to life by APT favorite and Madison native Sarah Day as Florence Foster Jenkins, a woman whose generosity and love of opera was only matched by her own delusions of vocal grandeur. Joining her onstage as long-suffering accompanist Cosmé McMoon is FST Artistic Associate Thomas Kasdorf.

Join us as we fall heart-first into some of the greatest love songs of all time performed by Madison’s best local singers. Featuring old-fashioned love songs, songbook standards, Broadway and movie musical favorites, as well as contemporary love songs, there’s something for everyone.
