How to purchase tickets

Individual Tickets for shows in our 2025-2026 season are on sale through the Overture Center Box Office in person, at overture.org, or by phone at (608) 258-4141.  Overture Center Box Office hours are Monday-Friday from 11 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 11 am to 2 pm.   The Box Office is open additional hours when there are performances.

NEW this Season:  The Overture Center Box Office is including all fees in the listed price for each show:  Ticket price plus Facility Fee of $3-$3.50/ticket plus Sales Tax plus a Convenience fee/ticket for those purchased online or by phone.  Because of this and increased costs of production, our listed prices are higher than last season.

  • A $44 ticket price includes the $33.65 price plus $3.50 facility fee plus $1.85 sales tax plus $5 convenience fee for web and phone sales.
  • A $36 ticket price includes the $27.49 price plus $3.50 facility fee plus $1.51 sales tax plus $3.50 convenience fee for web and phone sales.
  • A $25 ticket price includes the $18.01 price plus $3 facility fee plus $0.99 sales tax plus $3 convenience fee for web and phone sales.
  • A $20 ticket price includes the $14.22 price plus $3 facility fee plus $0.78 sales tax plus $2 convenience fee for web and phone sales.

Note: You can avoid the Online/Phone Sales per ticket Convenience Fee by purchasing your tickets in person at the Box Office.

Tickets for Rodgers & Hammerstein: From Book to Broadway in The Playhouse (December 11-21, 2025) are $44 and $36, depending on seating area.  Purchase at overture.org or (608) 258-4141.  Students may purchase tickets for $25 each (limit 2 per Student ID) in person at the box office.  Prices include all taxes and fees.

Tickets for both readings in the New Works: On Deck Readings Series in The Playhouse are $25 and $20, depending on seating area.   Purchase at overture.org or (608) 258-4141.  The readings of Steady She Goes by Erica Berman are Saturday 3/28 at 2 pm and Sunday 3/29/2026 at 2 pm.   The staged reading of Dan Seavey: Confessions of a Great Lakes Pirate is Saturday 3/28 at 7:30 pm.

All sales are final. No refunds are available.

Inclement Weather:
If the weather is unfavorable, a decision will be made by noon for matinee performances and by 4 pm for evening performances.

If you are unable to attend a performance due to inclement weather, you can receive a tax letter for a donation in the amount of the face value of your tickets by sending them (along with a short note regarding your request) within one week of the scheduled performance. Our mailing address is Four Seasons Theatre, PO Box 8765, Madison WI 53708.  If your tickets were held at Will Call, you can send an email to info@fourseasonstheatre.com with your name, the date/time of the show, the number and type of tickets, and your mailing address.

In the event of a cancellation, FST staff will notify local media outlets and post information on our website. All patrons who purchased tickets in advance for a performance which is cancelled may request a tax receipt for the value of the tickets (not including handling fees and service charges).


FST Performance Policies

Four Seasons Theatre has established the following policies to help ensure the safety, comfort, convenience and enjoyment of all our patrons:

  • Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theater for any ticketed performance. Infants and children under 6 are not admitted to a performance (unless otherwise noted) as a courtesy to our actors and other patrons.
  • Some of our shows are geared toward older audiences. Parents of younger children should check the website for recommended audience ages.
  • All electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, watch alarms, etc.) should be turned off prior to the performance. No recording devices (camera phones, cameras, video recorders, etc.) are permitted during the performance.
  • No food or beverages are permitted in the theater.
  • In consideration of audience members with scent sensitivities and allergies, please use perfumes, aftershaves, and other fragrances in moderation.
  • Latecomers will not be seated until an appropriate time in the performance. At that time they may be seated in the back or sides of the house until intermission or a break in the performance.
