A man who tilts at windmills inspires one of the greatest stories of all.
The winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Man of La Mancha showcases the transformative power of storytelling, and asks us to join Don Quixote in dreaming “The Impossible Dream.”
Imprisoned during the time of the Spanish Inquisition, Miguel de Cervantes enlists his fellow prisoners to act out his unfinished manuscript: Don Quixote de la Mancha. The prisoners help Cervantes and his servant playact the tale of Don Quixote, his faithful squire Sancho Panza, and his beloved Dulcinea. Alternately ridiculous, harsh, and heartrending, Man of La Mancha will sweep you up in its epic tale.
